City Hall

Now that I finally have a mobile battery powered device with a lens and software to produce still images (no not a camera, my phone obviously) I can bother getting snaps of all the good looking and interesting sights that surround my day.

Saying that though, these were actually taken with my friends borrowed SLR. I’ve never considered myself a photographer or been particularly interested in photography, but there’s a lot of fun to be had with it, at least until I feel I’ve nailed all the sites/subjects around here or simply got bored.

So not a whole lot to say. These are some photos I took at various times of the day around the Vancouver City Hall, and then experimented with editing in the few various ways I know of. While building up the number of photography posts on this site, I’ll definitely be building up my knowledge of photo editing, as editing has and always will be one of my biggest interests. Editing/Experimenting/Fucking Around. Call it what you want.

All photos look MUCH better when clicked to enlarge. All comments can be read MUCH better when you actually type them.

The editing of these so far pretty much ranges from the extreme, to the not at all or done in camera. This tends to be the way I’ve always done things though. I like the juxtaposition and restriction of the far ends of the scale.
