found a bunch of shit back when i used to have the ability to take photos of crap at will, so why not get rid and addy up nagger?
Obviously I took these because of the internal madness of satisfy that lies underneath those silky reflections (music), but also you forget that in this day of download, the album art IS (and i don’t want to say USED to be) a big pissing deal.
If you’ve got to the point where you’re buying the CD then you’re either a lover or a hunter, and either way having some artwork will never go a miss. I stand by CDs hard for mainly 2 reasons; 1: I already own a lot of them, and 2: they come with something you in no way get by just nicking it off net.
Holding something physically will always add that extra satisfaction, and it doesn’t matter if you only get the inlay out that one time per 5 years that your friend noticed you ACTUALLY have THE album, it’s still way more than worth the money you paid in the first place for the 10 minutes it takes you to look through the images that the band you love/loved created to add the extra bit of artistic merit to the venture they committed a big part of their life to. Regardless of the outcome.
also, I just want to point this out, I love all this shit above, but it is by no means what I’d necessarily hand pick and choose if I had the choice of every album on planet in front of me. Maybe some though.
